Basse Scout Band Boosted

Loek L.M Struick of the Movement of Federatie Band of Den Hang in The Netherlands recently donated 25 pairs of brand new shoes worth D10, 000 to the Basse Scout Band at a presentation ceremony held the Basse Mini-Stadium.

Speaking at the ceremony, Abubacarr Krubally, national youth programme commissioner of Gambia Scout Association, thanked the donor for the kind gesture. He described the organisation as a true friend of the Gambia Scout Association, and urged the beneficiaries to make the best use of the items for durability purpose.

Sainey Kanuteh, regional Scout commissioner also thanked the donor and urged the beneficiaries to utilise the items. Musa Jarra, assistant Regional Youth coordinator applauded the organisation for their support to the Basse Scout Band and commended Abubacarr Krubally and Sainey Kanuteh for their immense effort towards promoting the Scout Band in Basse.
